ADVENT BEGINS NOVEMBER 30, 2008- Gifts for Advent including Advent Calendars, Advent Candles, Advent Wreaths and Advent Calendars for both children and adults.
• November 30, 2008 - First Sunday of Advent (purple candle)
• December 7 - Second Sunday of Advent (purple candle)
• December 14 - Third Sunday of Advent (purple candle)
• December 21 - Fourth Sunday of Advent (pink / white)
Advent is a time of anticipation and preparation for Christmas. During Advent we use an advent wreath or candle set in our homes and places of worship and for each Sunday during advent a candle is lit.
