This delightful musical Nativity set is made in Bethlehem by Christian artisans just a short distance from the birthplace of the Lord Jesus. Hand carved from Holy Land olive wood the Nativity set includes 12 Nativity figurines and a musical stable that plays "Silent Night" when you wind the star.
The olive wood Nativity figurine set is a very detailed set averaging 5.5" in height and consists of the Baby Jesus, Mary, Joseph, three Wise Men, one shepherd, two cows, two sheep and a manger.( A manger is a feeding trough for animals and is sometimes confused with the stable.) The Nativity stable (or Nativity house) is beautifully constructed from olive wood blocks. On the back wall of the Nativity stable there is an angel. On the left side of the stable is a lovely palm tree and of course at the ridge of the A roof is the Star of Bethlehem.
