This delightful olive wood Nativity set is lovely and quite a bargain for such a detailed set of Nativity figurines and exquisite Nativity stable. This and all of our Nativity sets are made just a short distance from the Church of the Nativity, the birthplace of the Lord Jesus, by Christian artisans in Bethlehem.
The Nativity figurines consist of the Baby Jesus, Mary, Joseph (with staff), 3 wise men, 1 shepherd (with staff), 2 sheep, 2 cows and a manger (the manger is the stone feeding trough that Mary used for a bed for Baby Jesus and is somtimes confused with the Nativity house or Nativity stable). The luxurious Nativity stable (or Nativity House) is both unique and beautiful.
Our Bethlehem olive wood craftsmen construct the Nativity stable from olive wood blocks with tapered edges to form a lovely facade. At the back of the Nativity stable the angel is uniquely displayed in a round window. The star of Bethlehem adorns the roof of the Nativity stable and on the left side of the stable is a breathtaking palm tree.
