The title "Our Lady of Fátima" is one of many given to the Blessed Virgin. This statue recalls the vision given to three shepherd children at Fátima, Portugal in 1917. This same apparition is also called Our Lady of the Rosary and Our Lady of the Rosary of Fátima.
