The Catholic Faith Store 2011 / 2012 Random Drawing Giveaways

2011 / 2012 Official Rules

 FROM TIME TO TIME THE CATHOLIC FAITH STORE (CHRISTIAN FAITH STORE, INC.) MAY MAKE ANNOUNCEMENTS OF RANDOM DRAWING GIVEAWAY PROMOTIONS.  THESE PROMOTIONS ARE GOVERNED BY THESE OFFICIAL RULES.

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN CATHOLIC FAITH STORE GIVEAWAYS.  ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS DO APPLY.  VALID ONLY IN THE U.S. AND DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED

1)     TIMING:  The Catholic Faith Store Giveaways will consist of multiple random drawing giveaway events (respectively, and collectively the “Giveaways”) which will run on various days and at various times during the 2011 & 2012 calendar years (the, “Giveaways Period”).

2)     WHERE THE GIVEAWAYS WILL BE HOSTED & PROMOTED:  The Giveaways will be hosted and promoted on / through the Catholic Faith Store Page on Facebook® located at http://www.facebook.com/CatholicFaithStore and additionally promoted on Twitter® at http://twitter.com/CatholicFaithStore (respectively, and collectively the “Site”) and various other methods.

3)     WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE GIVEAWAYS:  The Giveaways are open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of entry and have an active e-mail account and Internet access prior to the beginning of the Entry Period (hereinafter, the “Entrant” or “Entrants”). NOTE:  Entrants may need to be connected to (aka “Like”) the Catholic Faith Store Page on Facebook, or be followers of Catholic Faith Store on Twitter to see Giveaways Announcements.

Employees of the Catholic Faith Store (“Sponsor”) and immediate family and household members of employees are not eligible to enter or win. The Giveaways are void where prohibited, restricted, or taxed by law and is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations.

4)     HOW THE GIVEAWAYS WORK:  From time to time, and during the Giveaways Period, Sponsor will make an announcement in the form of a posting or message on / through the Site of prizes available for giveaway by random drawing (the “Giveaways Announcement”) and invite interested persons to submit their entry for the drawing pool.

The Giveaways Announcement will include the name of the prize offered for giveaway along with any essential, relevant information.  For example, a potential Giveaways Announcement might read, “St. Anthony Statue, Resin 12”.”

5)     TO ENTER:  If you are connected to the Catholic Faith Store page on Facebook, or are followers of Catholic Faith Store on Twitter, then watch for Giveaways Announcements on the Site anytime during the Giveaways Period.  If you see a Giveaways Announcement and are interested in entering the random drawing for the prize item offered, then just fill out the entry form with your name and email address as per the online form found on the Catholic Faith Store Fan Page.  Regardless of the time of day of any Giveaways Announcement, all related eligible Entries must be posted electronically during the Giveaways Period and received by Sponsor by no later than 11:59 p.m. EST on the same day (the “Entry Window”). ENTRANTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR DETERMINING THE APPLICABLE ENTRY PERIOD TIMES IN THEIR RESPECTIVE TIME ZONES.

Limit: Only one (1) Entry per person, per Giveaway Announcement will be accepted. All eligible email Entries received in response to a Giveaways Announcement will be entered into the random prize drawing corresponding with that particular Giveaways Announcement. Entries received during any Giveaway Announcement Entry Window will only be considered for the associated Giveaways random drawing and will not be rolled-over to the next or future Giveaways drawings. Sponsor and its Agents cannot guarantee that all persons attempting to enter will be able to participate.

NOTE:  It is up to each potential Entrant to consider a prize’s personal utility prior to entering a Giveaways drawing (for example, his/her physical proximity to a particular venue in the case of giveaway tickets for an event).  Except when otherwise indicated, Giveaway items will be awarded strictly in the form advertised and will not include any additional award components (such as complementing cash payments, or transport services) for the purposes of facilitating or enabling a person’s use of the prize.

Entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned. In the event of a dispute as to any Entry or the identity of an Entrant, Entries will be declared to be made by the authorized account holder and natural person assigned by an Internet access provider to the e-mail address used to send the email Entry. Use of a false email account will disqualify an Entry.

6)     DRAWINGS; WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION: On or about one (1) day after each Giveaway Announcement Sponsor and/or its Agents will randomly select one (1) winner from among all eligible Entries received during the preceding day’s Entry Window. Winners will be notified by an email sent to the email address provided at the time of entry. In the event a winner cannot be contacted, is contacted and does not respond as directed within twenty-four (24) hours of attempted notification, refuses the prize, or is ineligible to accept the prize, or fails to claim the prize as directed, the prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate winner.

7)     (a) PRIZES:  Several prizes will be awarded throughout the Giveaways, including figurines, wall crosses, jewelry and other store items but will not be less than one ($1) USD or more than four-hundred, ninety-nine ($499) USD.  Winners will be required to provide a U.S. shipping address to claim prize.

8)     PUBLICITY RELEASE; ENTRANTS’ AND WINNERS’ AGREEMENT TO THESE OFFICIAL RULES, DECISIONS OF SPONSOR, AND CONSENT TO BE CONTACTED BY SPONSOR AND/OR ITS AGENTS:  Participation in Giveaways constitutes Entrants’ and Winners’ (“Participant” or “Participants”) full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules, Sponsor and/or its Agents’ decisions, and consent to be contacted by Sponsor and/or its Agents by telephone, mail or email regarding the Giveaways and/or his or her Entry. Winning a Giveaways item is contingent upon Participants’ fulfilling all applicable requirements as set forth in these Official Rules. By entering this Sweepstakes, each Entrant agrees (i) that Sponsor and its Agents may post and/or use the his/her Entry along with Entrant’s name, or user, or screen name and hometown therewith on Sponsor’s or its Agents’ Site and in any and all media in and in connection with promotion, publicity and advertising for Catholic Faith Store, the Giveaways, or other promotions by Sponsor without any further attribution, notification or compensation to Entrant, and except if Entrant is a resident of Tennessee or otherwise where prohibited by law.

9)     GENERAL CONDITIONS; RELEASE OF CLAIMS; LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY:  Proof of submission of an Entry is not proof of delivery or receipt of such Entry by Sponsor and/or its Agents. Entries generated by script, macro or other automated means, or otherwise intended to subvert or circumvent the Entry process or stated Entry limits are void. Use of a false email account will disqualify an Entry. Sponsor and/or its Agents reserve the right to disqualify, reject, or void any (i) Entry(ies) that, in Sponsor and/or its Agents’ sole and absolute discretion, violate the Entry guidelines, or these Official Rules, and (ii) any Participant who tampers with, subverts, circumvents, or attempts to tamper with, subvert or circumvent, the lawful operation of the Giveaways, the Site, or the Entry process, or who otherwise violates these Official Rules. Sponsor and/or its Agents also have the right to cancel, terminate or modify the Giveaways, or any portion, if in Sponsor’s sole opinion, it has been compromised, corrupted, or cannot be completed as planned due to computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, technical failures, or other conditions beyond Sponsor and/or its Agents’ control, including, without limitation, insufficient volume of eligible entries, and to select potential winners from eligible, non-suspect entries received on or before the termination date.

Sponsor and its Agents, Facebook and Twitter, Inc. (the “Released Parties”) are not in any way responsible or liable for damages, loss or injury resulting from Participants’ participation in the Giveaways, any Giveaways-related activity, or the acceptance, possession, shipping and handling, loss, use or mis-use of any prizes awarded, or for the fraudulent activities of Participants, or activities requiring a cancellation or postponement of the Giveaways or any activity or event relating to a prize, or the lost, late, intercepted, incomplete, incorrect, inaccurate, illegible, garbled, damaged, or misdirected Entries, or Entries not otherwise received by Sponsor and/or its Agents, or for technical, hardware or software malfunctions, failed or unavailable network connections, or delayed electronic or other communications, or other technical problems related to website entries, or other errors, difficulties or impediments of any kind, whether human, electrical or technical in nature, relating to or in connection with the Giveaways, their administration, the processing of Entries, or announcement of the prizes or winners. Participants assume sole liability and accept all risk of loss for injuries, including personal injuries and/or damage to property, caused or claimed to be caused by participating in the Giveaways or the acceptance, possession, shipping and handling, loss, use or mis-use of any prize awarded.  Released Parties accept no responsibility or liability for actions of Participants, including those in violation of these official rules, or Site Terms of Use.

ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE GIVEAWAYS MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND OTHER REMEDIES (INCLUDING ATTORNEYS' FEES) FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW. The Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the United States and all claims must be resolved in the United States.

10)  PERSONAL INFORMATION:  Personal information collected in the Giveaways will be used by Sponsor and/or its Agents in accordance with these Official Rules and for the purposes of administering the Giveaways and awarding prizes, and as otherwise permitted or required by law. By entering the Contest, Entrants agree to Sponsor’s and/or its Agents’ use of his/her personal information as set forth herein. Except as otherwise stated in these Official Rules, personal information received from Entrants is subject to the Catholic Faith Store Privacy Policy accessible at http://www.catholicfaithstore.com/Store/Biz/Policies.html.

11)  WINNERS LIST:  For a copy of the rules, or a list of winners within thirty (30) days of the conclusion of the Giveaways, or a Giveaways Entry Window, please send your request by email to: info@catholicfaithstore.com.

13)  ABBREVIATED MANDATORY DISCLOSURES FOR GIVEAWAY ENTRY SOLICITATIONS AND ADVERTISING:  NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. OPEN ONLY TO U.S. RESIDENTS AND D.C.
