A popular part of a Hispanic or Pilipino wedding ceremony is the use of a lasso rosary. This special wedding rosary is comprised of two large loops which are placed around the neck of the bride and groom. The individual loops are a full five decade rosary with the loops being connected with a shared crucifix and five prayer beads.
A rosary wedding set is not the same as a lasso. A wedding rosary set typically has two separate rosaries. One rosary for the groom, typically a black bead and one rosary for the bride, typically a white or clear bead.
