St. Theresa is the patron saint of Foreign Missions. St. Theresa lived a very unhappy life. At the age of 4, her mother died, leaving her oldest sister to take on the role of the mother. When her sister eventually left to beome a nun, Theresa started to become depressed. When she was almost an adult, her depression had been cured. She died of tuberculosis.
