Saint Richard Rosaries

Saint Richard

When you pray with your Saint Richard rosary do you know his significance? Richard, orphaned at a young age, abandoned his studies to help his brother work his struggling farm. His brother offered him the newly successful farm, but Richard rebuffed the offer to enter the priesthood. Eventually, he was elected Bishop and found himself engaged in constant conflict with the British King. He was a fearless defender of good and holy priests and of the Church, always seeking to purify them and it. Also known for his service to the poor, he invested much time in caring for the less fortunate. Richard was an admirable blend of both strong faith and selfless sacrifice. St. Richard's feast day is April 3, and he is the patron saint of coachmen; the Diocese of Chichester; and Sussex, England.
