Saint Gertrude Prayer Cards

Saint Gertrude comes from a long line of Saints born to a family of very religious men and women. So devoted to her faith she turned down a marriage to a very wealthy nobleman. Instead, she became a nun and eventually abbess of the Monastery at Nivelles. She is well known for helping spread the faith as her monastery was always welcoming Irish missionaries and other travelers. Her work also included giving land to build a monastery at Fosses in Belgium and also helping Saint Ultan in his missionary and evangelization efforts. We ask for her intercession with these prayer cards.
