A simple yet detailed Miraculous medal that is sized for a man at 1 3/8' high (this includes the loop at the top) but can also be worn by a woman that prefers slightly larger jewelry.

The classic oval shape, image of the Blessed Mother in the center and the Miraculous symbol on the back make for an ideal devotional pendant.

In 1830, St. Catherine Laboure received an apparition of the Blessed Virgin and was instructed to strike a medal in Mary's honor. The inscription on the front of the medal reads '0 Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee. 1830' Gift boxed.

The medal and chain were exactly as described. The loop holding the medal to the chain however tried to open up after wearing the medal for 1 day. I had it soldered closed.
