Saint Brigid of Ireland — patroness of Ireland alongside Saint Patrick, foundress of the great monastery of Kildare, and one of the most beloved saints in all of Catholic tradition — is the heart of this beautiful five-decade rosary. Designed to honor her legacy and the rich Celtic Christianity she helped build, this rosary unites Irish symbolism, devotional artistry, and genuine Catholic beauty in a single piece of lasting quality.
The beads are 6mm emerald green Aurora Borealis glass — a distinctive glass treatment that produces a shimmering, iridescent surface quality, so that each bead catches and shifts light as it moves through the fingers during prayer. At the center hangs a pewter Saint Brigid centerpiece medal bearing her image, and the crucifix is a Celtic-styled pewter cross evoking the great standing crosses of Ireland. The full rosary measures 20.5 inches and arrives in a deluxe gift box, completely ready to give.

Who Was Saint Brigid of Ireland?
Saint Brigid of Kildare (c. 451–525 AD) is one of the three patron saints of Ireland alongside Saint Patrick and Saint Columba. Born to a Christian mother and a pagan chieftain father, she chose the religious life and founded the great double monastery of Kildare — a center of learning, art, hospitality, and faith that shaped Irish Christianity for centuries.
Brigid is the patron saint of babies, blacksmiths, midwives, milkmaids, and Ireland. She is venerated for her legendary generosity — giving away everything she owned to those in need — and for the warmth and compassion she showed to all who came to her. Her feast day is February 1st. To pray a Saint Brigid rosary is to invoke her intercession — her compassion, her generosity, and her deep love of Christ — with every bead.
