This is a small Miraculous pendant that either a woman or youth can wear everyday. A classic oval shape and beautiful rays shining from the Blessed Mothers hands.
The Miraculous medal was inspired by St. Catherine Laboure who was instructed to strike a medal in honor of the Blessed Virgin. The inscription reads 'O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee. 1830' Mary stands upon a globe and is crushing a snake beneath her feet.
The back of the medals is shown in the sterling silver view: an 'M' surmounted by a cross, the hearts of Jesus and Mary, and twelve stars. This is known as the Miraculous symbol.
