This is such a pretty and uniquely designed crucifix. I wear it everyday along with a small crystal studded Miraculous Medal as a reminder of my Total Consecration and being a slave to Jesus and Mary. It is dainty and subtle, and has nice details. I chose this particular crucifix because of the floral designs and smaller size, which works well accompanying the Miraculous Medal. Wearing them together, I am also reminded of our Holy Mother's Seven Sorrows. A modern crucifix, albeit very pretty and appealing, seemed inappropriate in this case. I in my humble opinion, the more modern and shiny crucifixes of a larger size are better worn by itself.
