St. Cosmas Prayer Card

Saints Cosmas and Damian were twin brothers born in Syria and became doctors who served the poor as they did not accept payment for their services. As a result of their generosity to the community offering free medical services, many of their patients converted to Christianity. They were arrested under the persecution of Diocletian and were given the choice to recant their Christian beliefs or be killed. They did not recant and were tortured and martyred. These prayer cards call on the intercession of both Saints.
