When you need to be reminded to never give up, wear your St. Anastasia bracelet!
This saint became a martyr in the year 304, but not before she converted hundreds of people. Anastasia had become a Christian in secret. When her husband found out, he treated her cruelly.
The husband died during his travels. When Anastasia refused to renounce her faith, the emperor tried to kill her by starvation and by drowning. Her miraculous survival converted many. Finally, she was burned at the stake. Such perseverance she had!
She protects widows and those suffering from poison. Her feast day is December 25th.
