Saint Andrew Kim Taegon was the first Korean-born Catholic priest and the patron saint of Korea.

He preached and evangelized during a time when Catholics were persecuted for their faith.

Martyred at the age of 25, Andrew Kim Taegon is the Patron Saint of Korea. His feast day is September 20th.
