A rosary with St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, our first native born American to becom a patron saint! St. Elizabeth Ann Seton is the patron saint of widows, loss of parents, and a child's death. Born a Protestant, Elizabeth converted to Catholicism after experiencing the generosity and Catholic devotion of the Italian family who cared for her and her child after the loss of her husband. Returning from Italy Elizabeth's life focus was to open Catholic schools and orphanages and is credited with starting the American Catholic school system. She became a nun and died and is buried in a Maryland convent. She was canonized on September 14, 1975.
There are also rosaries for Saint Elizabeth of Hungary and Saint Elizabeth of the Visitation.
