Saint Dennis Bracelet

Saint Dennis was born in Italy and as a missionary was sent to France to convert the people of the Gaul region. He later became the Bishop of Paris.

He was martyred for his faith by being beheaded. Legend holds that St. Dennis walked nearly seven miles carrying his own head!

He is the patron saint of France (which has the St Denis spelling) and is known as one of the Fourteen Holy Helpers. His feast day is October 9th.
