An avid gardener of florist would really appreciate a Saint Dorothy bracelet as she is the patron saint of gardeners and florists.
Saint Dorothy was another victim of Emperor Diocletian's continued reign of terror on the Christians of that time. Dorothy was forced to make sacrifices to pagan gods, she refused and was executed.
Legend holds that on her way to execution a pagan lawyer mocked Dorothy and said: "Bride of Christ, send me some fruits from your bridegroom's garden." The miracle occurred where a boy of six delivered to the lawyer her headdress which was filled with the most beautiful array of flowers and fruit.
She is the patron saint of newlyweds and brides, florists and gardeners, and brewers. Her feast day is February 6th.
