Saint Felicity is also known as Felicitas of Rome. She is the patron saint of parents who have lost a child in death, martyrs, and sterility.
She is said to have been born into a wealthy and religious family and gave birth to seven sons who also became martyrs. Felicity is credited with many good acts and for converting many pagan worshipers in Rome to Christianity. He evangelism was not looked favorably upon and she was forced to honor the pagan gods.
Her punishment was very cruel. Each of her sons was murdered before her in the most brutal way. After each son was killed and tortured she was asked to deny Christ. Each time she refused. All seven sons were killed and lastly so was Felicia.
Her feast day is November 23rd.
